WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2007, BridgeSource, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in the Southern California - Greater Los Angeles Area dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of working individuals and families facing temporary crises. Our vision is to address the unique challenges of those living above the poverty level, who are ineligible for conventional social assistance programs but are at risk of financial catastrophe. BridgeSource is committed to providing short-term financial assistance to individuals and families on the brink of crisis, as well as striving to prevent the escalation of financial hardships that could lead to poverty and homelessness.

PERSONALIZED APPROACH

BridgeSource, Inc. is a licensed and insured non-profit organization that is dedicated to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all its clients. They take great care to ensure that all personal information is kept secure and confidential. BridgeSource is committed to providing a personalized approach to client care. They understand that every client is unique and therefore deserves individualized attention and support. They work closely with clients to develop customized solutions that meet their specific needs and goals.

OUR MISSION

  1. Provide Resources and Short-Term Financial Assistance: We aim to responsibly extend short-term financial aid to individuals and families on the brink of crisis, helping them navigate through temporary challenges such as unexpected expenses or lost paychecks. By offering support to those ineligible for conventional assistance, we strive to prevent the escalation of financial hardships that could lead to poverty and homelessness.
     

  2. Create Long-Term Solutions for Life Beyond Abusive Environments: BridgeSource, Inc. is dedicated to developing sustainable solutions for individuals and families trapped in abusive environments. Our commitment extends beyond immediate victim protection to fostering the restoration of safe, productive lives. Through comprehensive programs and resources, we empower survivors to break free from the cycle of abuse and build a brighter future.
     

  3. Lessen the Burden on State and Federal Agencies: We actively collaborate with state and federal agencies responsible for supporting the indigent, aiming to prevent at-risk households from slipping into the cycle of poverty due to unforeseen emergencies. By providing timely intervention and support, we contribute to the overall well-being of our communities and alleviate the strain on public resources.
     

  4. Preserve Dignity and Quality of Life: BridgeSource, Inc. is committed to preserving the dignity and quality of life of all its clients. They believe that every individual deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, regardless of their circumstances. Their mission includes a steadfast commitment to preserving and enhancing the quality of life for those who find themselves in need of support due to unforeseen crises.

    In addition to its mission, BridgeSource, Inc. offers Working Family Support Grants to assist individuals and families who are ineligible for most types of conventional social assistance. These grants address immediate needs and include the Working Family Support Grant, the Employment Bridge Grant, and the Emergency Grant. It is important to note that these grants are designed to serve immediate needs and not perpetuate a further state of crisis. All eligible clients will be required to take part in a program that extends beyond the need and establishes a transition to a sound quality of life.
